My name is Jennie, and I'm a professional family care provider. With over 15 years of childcare experience - including 5 years as a nanny and over 150 families served - I have the experience and passion to help families thrive. When you work with me, you're not just finding somebody to watch your kids for a few hours; you're bringing in an expert who knows how to connect with your children while advancing them through the stages of development and supporting their emotional wellness.
As a proud queer woman, I enthusiastically support all families who hold values similar to my own.
I follow gentle/conscious 'parenting' approaches, and I love working for families who do the same! I focus on connecting with children on their level (literally and figuratively), and I often incorporate music, whether it's to help brush teeth before bed or to get out some big energy with a dance party. I work with you to set and enforce consistent boundaries that bring your child/ren a sense of security while allowing them as much freedom as possible to explore, learn, and make joyful memories.
I am uniquely passionate about babywearing, carseat safety, and raising children to have a healthy relationship with food (Division of Responsibility).
